True Retailers-for-Profit: Walgreens has recently informed me that they no longer do their customers the favor of "breaking" a bill to smaller change. So, next time you're making a purchase, they'll be happy to take your money but don't look for any return favor. I've since taken my business elsewhere. Please contact the store manager at the Del Paso and El Centro Walgreens in Natomas for confirmation.
